Everyone:
I'm so confused! I thought a keyfaub was just a word rich people used to make me feel less cool about my car. As it turns out however, the word is "key fob" and the definition is, basically, a key ring. So, although the dealership and a lot of my friends call this a key faub ------->
(and make me feel like a real loser for not having one) I've had one for some time, because, by definition, it's just a key-chain. So, although I now have a key-less entry system for my automobile, I'll keep rocking my Astros lanyard, which is also a key fob...I can't believe I was stressed out about this.
