Everyone

I've mentioned my love for the band 311 multiple times on here. Today is no different. Just like there's an app for most things (you've heard the phrase "there's an app for that," right?), for every situation in your life, chances are, there's a 311 song for that.

Here's the song for today: It's called "Unity."
***This is the unedited version... It says a few bad words***

This doesn't have much to do with history, except my own, but music is powerful. Music helps build friendships. It draws people together. It excites people. It sets the mood. I pumps people up. It calms people down. It helps people write. I helps me work. Heck, music even helped shape my early political views.

One reason for the unity above, is to "take the power back."
This one is by Rage Against the Machine. If you don't know, now you know. #thatonewasnotforsammy

***Note, I used the clean version of this video/song***
As an FYI. I grew up in a Christian house and went to a Christian School.  I was the definition of sheltered. When I first saw this album cover (pictured above) I was, to say the least, shocked. #thestruggleisreal. You should help.
