So... you had a sub yesterday...and I'm not really sure where everyone is at in terms of their understanding of the lesson because we are still using paper and pencil which means I either have to be in the classroom or come by the classroom and pick up the work that shows me what you know. OR I have to have it mailed to me, which means I will get it in a few days, but it will cost me a stamp and require me to walk ALL THE WAY TO MY MAILBOX! OH NO!

This is one more reason why we should be moving toward using more technology in the classroom. If you typed your essays, thesis statements and Coffee CCOT worksheets in a digital format... on the blog, in Google Doc, etc., I could have them immediately. I could grade them right away... when I have time, not when I'm supposed to be teaching you other stuff... but now, I'm going to teach you other stuff without really knowing what you mastered yesterday.. because when I ask you if what you did yesterday made sense, you will say "kinda." Well, gee, thanks. That helps 0%.

Alright, I'm done complaining. We have stuff to do and life to celebrate, so come to class ready to rock-and-roll.

Peace and love,
Markstone

With all the mistakes I make when I type, I can't imagine typing on one of these things. It belongs in a museum, not on a desk... Long-live technological innovation. Viva la information revolution!... or something like that.
