APRQ Ch 36. Due by Tuesday, May 13, 2014

Hey kids, here's your quiz... it's late, but it's here.

Just as an FYI, the political turmoil of the inter-war years was not limited to the US and countries of Western Europe. Instead,  the countries of Africa, Latin America, and Asia all experienced an array of social and political conflicts in the era between the wars. Even though some historians view these conflicts as reactions to the conflict in Europe, it is disingenuous to do so. Remember, just like in the Early Modern Era, the countries of Africa, Latin America and Asia are not simply pawns of the West. They act on their own accord, making their own decisions and suffering from their own problems. Now, this is not to say that influence doesn't flow one way or another. We know world history doesn't happen in a vacuum. However, consider the climate in each of these regions during the era and judge for yourself WHY these things happened.
