Everyone

Here is the video from Tuesday's ALS Ice Bucket Challenge... just in case you want to see it. By this point I'm sure you know what happens.

If you want to start checking your grades, you can do so by clicking here. If you don't know your log-in information, you'll need to contact the front office and get that set up. Start at the front desk and they'll tell you what to do. The school district has asked all teachers to use this system, so you'll be able to see ALL of your classes and grades.. that could be really good, or really bad, depending on how you look at is.


Modern World History

Today we are going to meet in room 520 to work on our personal history essays. We had to ditch last week's effort because the computers were not working properly.

  • Create a folder on Google Drive and share it with me and two classmates.
  • Create a draft of your essay and place it in the shared folder.

    Objectives:
    • Analyze the spread of Agriculture from 10,000 BCE to 600 BCE.
    • Analyze the development of early civilizations from approximately 3,000 BCE to 600 BCE.
    • Write a thesis statement and two direct comparisons for a given prompt.
    • Compare the impact of the environment on Early River Valley Civilizations.
