Everyone

Remember our "what's going on in this picture?" from Monday? Well, I couldn't have been more WRONG with my assessment. I thought it was a toy? WHAT? I think I'm going to #getmyeyeschecked. The picture, which you can see again if you click here,  proves that, even in Brazil, #thestruggleisreal.

It's actually a police officer modeling the newest innovations in Riot Gear in preparation for the World Cup. People take their soccer seriously.

In all seriousness, though, nice work USING EVIDENCE to make and substantiate a claim.

Everyone needs to click here and read this post! It contains our assignment!

AP Kids- Chapter 23 Notes ARE NOT DUE tomorrow. You just have to complete the quiz.

ALL STUDENTS! Research and Reasoning- Due Friday, March 21, 2014 by 8:30AM

    Dear students,

There's an old (although it's not really THAT old) saying that goes like this:
    "Something old,
    something new,
    something borrowed,
    something blue..."
Have you heard it before? Do you know what it's relating to?

No, none of us are getting married, but we are, much like a bride, venturing off on a new, exciting, unknown and nerve-racking journey. Sure others have done it before us, and surely some will wish us luck, while others will wish us harm and cast scorn in our direction. We will, however, venture forth. Why? Because how are we really to know what OUR experience will be unless we try?

I constantly preach to you about challenging yourself and trying to get better at whatever it is you want to be good at... well., here's me, putting my money where my mouth is.

I have the utmost confidence in you. We will succeed together, I know it.

DO NOT COMMENT HERE, that won't save your selection. If you are having trouble commenting, watch this modern masterpiece.

Once you've selected your topic and submitted your research, go ahead and take a look at the "AP Research and Resources" page to see what others are researching and how they're doing it.

    Good luck.
    Love,
    Markstone
