Everyone:
David Christian, author of the course Big History and the mastermind and advocate of this new branch of history, appeared on the Colbert Report last night. I've included the video below.

If you've never experienced the Colbert Report, you are in for a treat... kinda. He likes to antagonize his guests quite a bit, but it's usually a fun show. Anyway, the big deal about this is that Big History is finally getting some "main-stream" attention. It's backed and advocated for by Bill Gates and others, and is gaining popularity world-wide. You can see the online course here and can sign-up to take the online course on your own time. Finally, a history course that kids, and everyone else too, might be able to make sense and see the relevance of. Enjoy.
