Everyone

Let's talk about something.

It's an "S" word.

SPELLING

That's right, spelling. It's a big deal, and not just in academia. Spelling is always important, whether you are writing your significant other a letter or email, making a Facebook post, or applying for a job.

Now, you already knew spelling was important for "adult" stuff, but who really cares... Well.. I do! Bad spelling (and poor grammar) ruin everything. Even things I really enjoy can be ruined by incorrect spelling.... Example, I am a serious lover of "street art." It's my brother in-law's fault, but it's usually awesome and  beautiful... Tagging on the other hand, isn't. Especially when they can't spell.

Enter exhibit "A"

Now, bathroom humor is right  up my alley (this is literally written on the door of a portable restroom) but, I can't even begin to be offended by the comment, because I'm horrified by utter  failure of "hooked on phonics." Seriously, I'm all for saving the forests, but if you are going  to go this far, #watchoutforthecones... maybe, just maybe, the tagger was from Maine... it is the Pine Tree State, after all.

Seriously,
Markstone
