Everyone
I try fairly hard not to buy a lot of things. I, like most people, often see things I want, but refuse to buy them for myself. There are a few reasons for this. The most obvious, at least to me, is that I derive a good deal of pleasure from depriving myself of "luxuries." I view it as a test of my will, and see my ability to deprive myself of those things as a sign that I am mentally strong.
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure this is an extremely unhealthy habit and mindset... I just have to figure out how to break it.
All that being said, I bought a computer last week. It came yesterday... when I say it came, I mean it was delivered. It was delivered to me from New Jersey where it was refurbished to work just like new. This thing is awesome. It cost a whopping $175.00, as it was on sale and refurbished. That's a killer deal, fyi. It does pretty much everything I want it to do. By that I mean, it runs Google Chrome and all the Google Apps that go along with it. It has its limitations, I know, but that's the beauty of using (almost exclusively) Google Products. You don't need an expensive machine or any fancy licenses... Some people pay more for Microsoft Office than I paid for the computer... I think that means I'm #winning.
I'll be sure to keep you posted on how things work out in the coming weeks and months... You can get a refurbished Chromebook from Newegg.com for the next several days for the low, low price of $175.. or, you can splurge and get the new one for somewhere under $300.
